[REQUEST] Atelier Mysterious Trilogy DX

As some of you might now, the DELUXE versions of Atelier Sophie, Firis and L&S released on Steam and consoles, they added new content campaigns, costumes but even better: Photo mode for all games. Sadly as soon as you move the camera for any kind of low angle all character models disappear. They went a little too harsh on it too, because most of the times not even trying to get a pantsu shot the censor applies like the pictures attached.

I have experience with model and costume modification for Atelier games, but I don't know about cameras or remove the censorship that makes the models disappear if the camera is too low.

If someone knows the fix or is able to make it for these three games It would be great, and modding scene for these three games could start

Both the previous Arland and Dusk series were moddable with 3DMigoto, so i expect the "new" Mysterious series to also be. Not that there ever was much modding on the other series though what exist can be found there

 

Arland series DX (Rorona/Totori/Meruru) as well as Rorona from moderchan ([A11])

Dusk series DX (Ayesha/Escha & Logy/Shallie) as well as Ayesha only using some unpacking tool

 

As far as the newer series go i don't remember there ever being anything done on Firis, but there was some info about a tool other than 3DMigoto to unpack the files on Sophie back when it wasn't yet the DX version of those games, as well as some mods from moderchan for Lydie & Suelle (under [A19]) that might still work on the DX version

 

I hope those help any tentative modders for those games, the best i could do myself with 3DMigoto is removing/shortening some parts or recoloring, i know nothing at all of model/texture editing so i wouldn't even know where to start.

 

By the way the new censorship is kinda sad in the original PC Sophie game you could get shots like the following one (no photo mode though)

exactly, and it is overdone, like i said on the first post, sometimes you don't even have to try and the models just dissapear if you lower even a little bit the game, I think that should be the first mod for these DX games

Wait are you saying that used to be possible but isn't in the new DX version? Did they put those weird black granny panties from Ryza 2 on her or something?

When you drag the camera down for the "pantyshot" the whole character becomes invisible.

other than the regular model swapping, or editing I don't know how to work the camera limits

I've made some character mods. I uncensored Firis for Atelier Firis DX. Her model is uncensored in Lydie and Suelle, so I ported her knickers across from that. 

 

And I made some simple texture hacks for Atelier Lydie and Suelle DX. Lydie has her petticoats-thing removed, Suelle has her petticoats thing and her underskirt removed, and while Sophie's model is already uncensored, I shortened her skirt and coat. Note that if you want Lydie and Sue without skirts at all, there's something from Moderchan, but I like to keep a bit of skirt.

I don't know about synthesis, but just put ingredients in cauldron allow to make items. I can't adjust 3dmigoto, but just put ingredients in blender allow to make mods, and fortunately 3dm for Ryza3 could use my most favorite L&S this wonderful!

Sometimes it does endless loading at startup, restarting will solve it. This issue maybe happen when you change the resolution.

 

Sometimes it takes a long time to load images. it takes a long time to load texture for mod, i feel so long. If texture be made small will solve, but this time couldn't edit mask layer so a priority was quality.
 

shadow is so dark, especially about synthesizing.

 

His bottom have same hash with lydie's pants, i don't know what it mean about, it may be unacceptable hypothesis. It bothers me so I added mesh to him of tops material, but he doesn't have leg bones.

 

Sometimes the character turns dark, maybe seems to cause is Lucia's folder. If issue bother you remove lucia's folder so disable mod and will fix it.  By my way I don't  care cuz lusia mod is so favorite her hip cute.

スカートの裏が透明になっていたのを修正。

Do I need Gust Tools to install these mods or can I just copy and paste to use it?

Some Sophie DX character mods. Sophie's two costumes with skirts just have them shortened. Her other costume has her shorts replaced with knickers. Corneria, and a load of NPCs with the same basic model get shorter skirts and Sophie's knickers. And Monika gets Tess's entire costume. It doesn't work perfectly, given the lack of skirt bones and her arms wanting to go through it when idle, but it's not too bad.

 

I wrote some python scripts to import bits from one model to another by completely throwing away their bones and guessing what they should have from what bones parts of the initial model at about the same place have, and this is much of what I've been doing with them.

Firis time. The Firis uniform mod has 9 different configurations, pictured is the one with all the changes (and there are versions without the skirt altogether too.) 

 

I've also included the scripts I've written in case they're useful to anybody. They're python scripts, with descriptions included, mostly around the theme of importing meshes by projecting bones and weights automatically from the original model into the donors, or fixing stuff, but there is a simple nipple crafter too. Some of them probably do stuff which can be easily done some other way, writing a new script for me is often easier than searching for such things. If you're not already familiar with modding these games, this is not the place to learn. I'm running them from a Linux command line, they should run from a Windows one too, but I haven't actually tried this or anything.

Added some things which got left out of the scripts and a bugfix

Modded Lucia and Ilmeria for Lydie and Suelle. Plus a scripts update, facemap_and_snap is renamed to import_meshes and can now use existing weights from the meshes being imported, either on their own or in combination with weights projected from the target. So automated segmentation which can cope with missing bones.
