Changing a mod

There's a NPC Hair Replacer on Nexus

I like the idea behind the mod but would like it better if it used these hairs. Assuming the Authors don't mind me using them for personal reasons. Or maybe for release here if there's interest.

So my question really is how hard would it be to swap the hairs out for either or both of these?

 

I'm a virgin where modding is concerned.
