ImLikeJesus Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 So I downloaded a bunch of hair mods and was looking through them when I noticed something didn't seem quite right. The hair line down the middle of the head was... odd. This is how the hair is meant to look This is how the hair looks on my character close up And this is how it looks further away (worse) It looks disconnected, and bald along the middle of the scalp, especially from further away. I wanted to know if there was a mod, or .ini tweak that would help me fix this problem. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 It is *possible* that it could be related to weight sliders - there were a couple of hair packs a while back with a similar issue. Enter "showracemenu" and slide the character's weight around to see if it makes any difference.

Chaosknight Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 pretty sure u can change the height of ur head so it doesn't stick out up top with Enhanced Character Edit http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12951

I already have Enhanced Character Edit and will give it a try. Edit: I tried Neck length, head size, and the height slider. None of them had any impact on the hair at all.
ImLikeJesus Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 It seems like a draw distance thing. The closer in, the more hair, the further away, the worse the problem. Is there a .ini tweak, or mod that might help solve this? I noticed it was actually worse when I used the "Enhance Distant Terrain" mod
canderes Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 There was a texture filtering problem with the alpha branches on nifskope. A bunch of my hairs do that even though I use filtering at max and force quality through a different panel. I had that issue before. The second post on here says what you change in nifskope. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/501906-deadly-serious-tutorial-nifskope-and-texture-transparency/page-2 http://www.gameskyrim.com/anti-aliasing-issue-t194460.html
