question about racemenu and mods which dynamically add overlays...

Something I've been curious about -

If you are running mods like Apropos, Survival, SL Cum Overlays, or others which add/remove racemenu overlays dynamically, what exactly happens if you manually open racemenu to add some unrelated overlays (or make other tweaks) and then save the character while overlays from those mods are active? Since the temporary overlays are present in various overlay slots, will they get baked into your character and become permanent until you go back and manually remove them through racemenu? Will they get duplicated by these mods whenever the appropriate conditions are met again, resulting in two instances of each overlay?

Just wondering what the correct way to handle this would be since I usually like to go in and out of racemenu often to make little tweaks to my character and not sure what impact I'm having on these mods.

If You use Apropos2 or SlaveTats and setup some Overlays

 once You enter RaceMenu you will see those Overlays in RaceMenu, you can change their color, alpha, glow etc.

Overlay will be still registered in SlaveTats and Apropos2 so once You remove them srom ST or A2 they will be gone from ur Overlay slot too

also if You change color in ST or A2 you will restart changes you made in RM

You can change them if u want, nothing bad will happend if u edit them with RM

but i was doing that only to ST and A2 so idk about other mods... but other mods should be fine too...

//Edit:
ofc. if You change texture in RM from for example Apropo2 texture to something else, for example body tattoo

 once A2 decide to remove its texture from body it will remove your edited body Tattoo...

so if u want to use that Overlay for long time... its better to use different slot than slot used by ST or A2

Ok, so it sounds like any manual changes made to overlays generated by a mod will not interfere with the mod's ability to process that overlay. Also sounds like overlays generated by mods will not become permanent if you enter/exit racemenu while they are active.

Pretty much what I was hoping for - thank you.
