Overheard: A Forum Game

Basically post funny or outrageous things you've overheard in public. I got the idea for this when I was in a department store today and overheard this tidbit below:

 

Mother: "How long does it take for the world to go around the sun?"

10-year-old daughter: "A year, Mom."

Mother: "What? No, that doesn't sound right. It can't possibly take that long."

Daughter: "That's...what a year is, Mom. How long it takes for the planet to go around the sun."

Mother: "Are you sure you're not thinking about a solstice?"

Daughter: "Oh god, Mom! You're so embarrassing!"

Reporter: Mr. President, question, its been over a year now, what are you're plans for Katrina?

 

President: Oh yeah, we're gonna find her, and we are gonna bring Katrina to justice. We have reason to believe Katrina is connected to Al-Qaeda
