That's just the loader seeing the wrong version listing in the descriptor file.

Open the file with notepad and change whatever you see in the quotes in the last line to the current version.

it might say that, but it still in fact works

 

you could also update the mod with the most recent version. the simple slits mod compatible for the previous update set doesn't display outdated notif for the new update

Just update the descriptor file to 1.*.* 

Unless CK3 adds new character models or changes the existing ones nothing should break. 

 

TBH these mods even work with some of the monster mods i've been using so they might be future proof.

I think there should be sticky post with bold all-caps "Mods showing as outdated may still work perfectly fine"...
