Modding question: Sexual orientation

Iv'e been trying to make a very simple mod to have a decisioon to embrace another sexual orientation by trying to add it to an existing mod that already adds trait through an event.

The event runs fine, adds all the traits i added to it but instead of changing my ruler orientention the tooltip shows "You discover you are: None" and it stays the same.

 

So (bear with me i'm a noob at moding) apparently the command is taken into account but doesn't change anything. Considering just how simple of a change it is and that no one has made such a simple mod so far i'm starting to suspect there is something else preventing the change people far more experienced than me never got around either and that it is impossible.

Or is it? Am i doing something wrong?

 

I basically just added the console sommand in the text file in between 2 traits that the event adds  (event from the "demonic blood" mod on rebirth)

 

Again being a noob on the modding scene i'm not sure if it's "cool" to tweak someone else file like that but FYI this is strictly for my personal use

 

Anyway, i know i can easily switch that thru the console but now this is getting kinda personal, i wanna make it work because obviously since that all Covid mess started i'm in serious need of goals in my life ?

Did you know you have to put an "=" between a command and an argument in a script (unlike the console) ?

 

Yeah i guess most of you did....
