Black loading screen

I have several load screen replacer mods in place and they usually work well together, so I get a wide variety of randomized sexy load screens. Sometimes though (about 1 in 5 times), I will only get a black loading screen. The game still seems to load fine, but it's annoying to have nothing to look at for 2 minutes when I know that there are so many possible options available. Is there a setting somewhere which affects how Skyrim picks which loading screen to use and which might ensure that one of the loading screens will always load instead of a black screen?
