CHIMiny Cricket Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Spouses Enhanced Serana Add-On SE Port View File A simple port of the Serana add-on from the LE version of Spouses Enhanced so it will work with Spouses Enhanced SE. It essentially allows Serana to use all the features from Spouses Enhanced if you're married to her. Keep in mind that Spouses Enhanced only works with NPCs who go through the vanilla marriage process. You'll need a mod to marry her, I recommend Marry Me Serana. Mods that alter the vanilla marriage quest will likely break Spouses Enhanced and it probably won't work with the marriage from Serana Dialogue Add-On because that mod has it's own marriage that's separate from the vanilla quest. This mod also requires Shared Serana Dialogue to work. Permission to port it was taken from this post and the one after it from the original author. Seedeeptree Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 I wanted to thank you for this it works, perfectly along with the shared Serana dialogue you also posted. I tried porting those myself but had no luck. I always felt that Spouses Enhanced just wasn't the same with out this little gem.
tvRoosey Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 Wanted to ask if 'marrying' through serana dialog add on only would work, or would I need to use marry me serana in order for this to work
Lilith Bloodmoor Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Does anyone know if this is compatible with Serana Dialogue Edit (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16222)?
Unknownflames Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 (edited) Does thismod let you give birth to children of the same race like basic pregnancy that broke?! Edited February 1, 2022 by Unknownflames
Qwert_yyy Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 I have all the marriage mods and the Serana Dialogue Add-On. It looks like the Addon is really conflicting, I don't have the opportunity to marry Seran, and also I don't understand what the addon developer means when he calls marriage real in his mod. Because there is no marriage in the addon, there is only some kind of tacit agreement, and at the same time, this tacit agreement conflicts with full-fledged marriage mods.

I haven't played with SDA for a very long time, so I can only guess at what's going on under the hood. While there might not be a ceremony, the mod might still be filling the marriage slots, therefore blocking the vanilla marriage. You could test this yourself by seeing if you still have the option to marry a vanilla NPC. Spouses Enhanced requires a vanilla marriage because it changes parts of that quest to trigger it's functions. Any mod with a custom wedding is not going to work with Spouses Enhanced because said custom wedding is bypassing the necessary scripts to make the mod work. Regardless of all that, SDA has its own dialogue to trigger sex, so this mod is pretty much pointless when SDA is installed. And when you say you "have all the marriage mods" are you talking about Marry Me Serana? Because that would also be redundant with SDA. If your issue is with SDA Serana not wanting a ceremony and a full fledged marriage than you might want to start a new game without it, because that's just the way SDA Serana is written. SDA is a very large scale mod, and anything that adds content to Serana has to be considered carefully, especially when said content is overlapping with content that already exists in SDA (like marriage).

I already realized after the correspondence on the SDA page that there are extra ones here, I hope nothing is broken. But what I really want to solve is the support of Spouse s Enhanced with Serana. And I realized that this is the problem of the Spouse s Enhanced itself, I even left a comment with a quote of your suggestion. Edited May 1, 2022 by Soldream
BeranabusBarnes Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) Needs to be cleaned in xEdit. Error in plugin due to SexLab SE having some changes in formIDs, easily fixed by referencing a related record. Edited January 20, 2024 by BeranabusBarnes
