When chastity bras, belts, corsets are equipped with a catsuit they show up over it. How can I get it to hide under the catsuit? For every other thing covering the body like the hobble dresses and straightjackets, it hides under it.

You should be able to tweak it to your liking in the MCM menu of Devious Devices, in the section "Devices Hider".

Usually, those items don't appear under clothes until you tweak (by disabling IIRC) the relevant slots, but I think it's normal that devices would appear over, at least in an immersion/consistency aspect, don't know about the technical aspect (I always use devices hider for those disabled, as I feel that devices should be visible in most cases).

I don't know if there might be a difference between armor/clothes catsuit and device catsuit, but which are you using right now?

 

I've had issues (I'm pretty confident most if not all of those being either technical incompatibilities or poor MCM settings on my end, and that each mod would work out great on their own) when using All Geared Up (weapons, armors pieces and devices fighting to kept their slot) SE and Sexlab Survival LE (using a Bikini Armor feature), if you have those mods or others somehow affecting or using armor slots, you may want to verify they aren't somehow conflicting or messing with each others (either as incompatible mods or because of wrong MCM settings).
