icladel Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 With some ENB's when my character is in an exterior cell and in some shade, there is a very obvious neck seam. The head texture stays normal but the body turns shiny red. And it all changes when i move between outdoors light sources/shades. Indoors is ok. Holding a torch or standing close to a fire will hide the seam and make head and body textures ok. But light source from the sun completely changes skin color of the body, How can I make this go away? Is there a certain .ini tweak I can make? Thanks
moomore Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I had this issue not too long ago; although my ADEC body would turn a weird reddish brown and the face would be normal outside. I specifically remember having this problem messing with the Lunari race files so check to make sure it's not something specific to only custom races. Ultimately, I fixed this by first using an earlier ENB since I really only encountered the outside neck seam in .146 ENBs and onwards; the exact one i don't remember. Try using an ENB that uses .119 or .113. However, it only mitigated the seams that would bother me later again. Next, I finally put together the willpower to eliminate neck seams altogether by combining this and this on vanilla races; this works too if you fulfill the requirements. I have yet to try it on a custom race. Specifically, i used radioragae's psd files to make texture libraries for the normal textblend on my ADEC nord playthrough and the unp textblend for my UNPB playthrough. Hopefully someone who better understands the various texture file types can diagnose the problem better. In addition to the race, could you also list the face and body texture you're trying to use?
icladel Posted April 13, 2013 Author Posted April 13, 2013 Thanks for the reply moomore, Im currently using face tex Better Females Narutal Edition and the UNP body with standard UNP textures. I think it may be a ENB lighting tweak. Ive been using ENB119 for ages. When I switched from Project ENB to The Wilds ENB, the neck seam issue came up. Same as your description, red-brown body, normal face. This didnt happen with Project ENB. Is there a guide or anything that tells me exactly what each variable in the enb.ini files will change?
