Stuck on Quest: On The Trail , talked to Olfrid Battle-Born but step still uncecked.

Hope I'm posting to correct place.

 

I have been running around for days now trying to figure  out what it is that I have to do to get on with Quest 

 

I have read Jarl Ravencrone note

Payed a visit to Jarl Ravencrone

 

And they are checked

 

I have talked to Olfrid Battle-Born and he have no more to say.

Still it does not get checked.

 

He did mention a person in the inn and I found someone called the Stranger.

But he has nothing to say.

 

Can't figure it out.

 

How do I get on with the Quest.

I found some tip on how to use the console to navigate a quest here:

I run command ShowQuestTargets into console to get list of QuestId.

List can be scrolled with Page Up and Page Down.

Recognized the id AQSS_MiaVessInter

 

Then I typed Player.sqs AQSS_MiaVessInter and got a list of all stages in quest.

I could see that stage up to 30 was set to 1 and 40 and up to 0

 

I then skipped to stage 40 using the command SetStage AQSS_MiaVossInter 40

 

That trigged the Talk to Olfrid quest and enabled the possibility to talk to stranger.

Hay I keep crashing when I enter Bannered Mere after I speak to Battle-Born and he tells me to talk to the stranger in Bannered Mere.

I cann't even enter Bannered Mere without crashing.

Does you know what mod it is from?

I have been trying to track down the original mod. I have a feeling  it is the slave mod Mias Lair.

 

is there a patch to fix this?
