I have a question about the species

I might know how to install custom species, I am absent from the game a lot and I see that when downloading species it only leaves a pak file and the official website that Sexbound had is no longer there, before only to install it or at least of the very little that I remember it was "male_SampleSpecie" or something like that and the species worked for me now I'm really very confused and I don't know what procedure it takes. Can someone give me a brief explanation of how I install the species now?

This sounds like you are asking how to install a .pak mod. Drop the .pak file in Starbound/mods and launch the game.
