ukshadow Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Hello, I am hoping somebody here knows of a way to circumvect this bug. This is what I have tried so far: - Desactivate all mods - Desactivate all DLCs. - Turn off SKSE - Install all Unofficial Bug fixs. I was just playing normally but for some reason I didn't get any dragons because I was too early on the main quest, my char is lvl 36 right now and don't want to lose her since this is the first time I have progressed so much. Now that I am back into the main quest to get the horn I tried to kill an Elder dragon, but it will not give up the soul. Is there any way through console to take the soul? I know that I will need this to advance through the main quest. Thanks in advance.
Ark of Truth Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Tried with a clean save? Sounds like you may have to reinstall.
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 WOW, normally taking out USKP fixes that no dragon souls bug of course taking out USKP generally corrupts your saved games so like Ark said you might have to reinstall.

Disabling all mods should fix the issue regardless unless one of the mods injected something into the save which caused the corruption.
aljustineg Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 did you use the Dead Body Collision Fix cause that mod causes that problem and also corrupt your save even if you uninstall it

formel Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Had this bug too (with dragonborn dlc installed), couldn't absorb the dragon soul from the dragon that attacks the tower near whitrun(beginning of main quest) Updating the unofficial Patches solved it for me. This bug can also caused when the ununofficial Patches in the wrong load order.
