Sims 3 3d Pubic Hair

I am working on 3d models of pubic hair for sims 3 but I have no idea how to get them into sims 3 so i was thinking ill just share with the community and some one else can add them

I honestly do not think that will work in TS3. I see 40,000 verts and 0 faces. It looks as you made a mesh only using vertices to create an appearance of hairs in Blender, but TS3 needs faces for textures to show in game. My work with hair is limited, so maybe someone with more experience will help, but from what I know, hair uses a mesh shader which allows only the shaded (gray) part of a texture to be seen, while the rest of the mesh becomes transparent. Hair is done in multiple layers of mesh, each layer with a front and back so the texture is seen from both sides.

 

Not to discourage, but to encourage learning how to, I suggest opening a hair package, extracting the mesh to look at how it is made. And open a second window in Blender for UV editing. There, import the hair texture image so you see how the texture actually only covers parts of the mesh UV... but the uncovered parts are not visible in game. )))

 

I have actually thought about trying what you are trying. It can probably be done by using the crotch of an EA mesh, and creative image texture. Texture being something I am not that good at, but continue to work on. )))

Ah gotcha now I know what my issue is. I will be working on something a bit more sims 3 friendly
