ballist0 Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 I am trying to replace the loading screen simply by replacing Data/Interface/loadingmenu.swf with my own .swf file. This doesn't seem to work for me, as loading screens are now black screens like they are normally. Here are some examples that do what I'm trying to do and work when I install them: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/91840 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36480 Is there something that I'm missing here as to why my own .swf file doesn't work? My .swf file is 30 fps 16:9 ~2MB
Boredomisgone Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Flash loops (with actual animating parts and not a movie clip converted to SWF) such as those from Minus8 will work. But there are some workarounds. You can do this the hard way: Convert your SWF file to a video clip -> Extract said clip to multiple PNG pics -> Download JPEXS flash decompiler -> Load Wench NSFW into JPEXS -> Replace shapes with previous PNG pics (I.E changing the frames) -> Enjoy your new 19-frames loading screen. Be sure to use PNG format otherwise it won't work. Or if you don't mind some quality loss: Convert your file to an animated GIF file -> Find a GIF to SWF converter (Thundersoft works for me but it craps itself when the file size is too large) -> Resize your new flash with whatever tool you can find to fit your screen (or you can just resize the GIF file before converting, either way works.) loadingmenu.rar
