Converting a static mesh from Fallout 4 to Skyrim

Hello everyone,

 

I've been trying to convert a mesh for a static object from Fallout 4 to Skyrim and having little success. Since I've converted outfits successfully, I figured the same tactic of exporting to object and importing should work. However, with NifSkope I cannot import an object for a BsTriShape after I have exported it form the F4 nif. It works fine for Outfit Studio, but I can't use it since it is geared for outfits and it creates all the fancy skin nodes on import and the mesh becomes unusable for static objects.

Do I need to convert the BsTriShape node to a NiTriShape somehow in order to import an object for it (I saw somewhere that the import should work for a NiTriShape)? Or am I missing an easier way to go about the whole process?
