Bug: "Watch Porn" videos not cycling. Always plays video #2 in the series. 161c, possibly earlier.

This post is mainly for @Turbodriver, but it would be great if others could confirm in-game on their end too.

 

As of version 161c, possibly earlier, the "Watch Porn" feature on in-game PCs only plays video 2 in the series. For reference, this is the shower scene in the base WW mod.

 

Even if you swap the video names in Sims4Studio, the video labeled 376840D7!00000000!C569104353CC2462.AVI is always the one played. For example, if you swap the names for 376840D7!00000000!C569104353CC2461.AVI (beach scene) and 376840D7!00000000!C569104353CC2462.AVI (shower scene), the beach scene will then get played.

 

This also reproduces with a fresh build and save. But if anyone else can verify in-game on their end, I'd appreciate it. Just in-case there's something unforeseen going on with my set-up.

 

I first discovered this while swapping in some custom videos with Sims4Studio to the WickedWhims pkg. But it turns out it happens on a freshly downloaded WW 161c build too.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I think it started well before v161, but I can't be sure. I know there used to be at least a couple different scenes but I've only seen the shower scene for quite some time.

Thanks for confirming. Confirms it's definitely the build and not just something strange on my end. It's designed with 6 scenes which cycle, but is just showing scene 2 right now. I basically noticed since I was replacing it with some dirty videos I wanted to cycle and couldn't understand why it only played the second one, so re-downloaded the OG 161c build to check.

According to the v162a changelog Turbo has fixed this issue.
