Quertee Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 i don't know. i kinda feel alright and sad at the same time i understand the quote "one door opens when another closes" and "you'll die someday" but it's just sad that none of us can't rewatch their skits without having to find someone who violated Mark and Ethan's wish what's even more sad is that there's a chance that no-one on earth will remember unus annus ever existed. just like the second death in mexican culture
RadioactiveSoup Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 I suppose the point was to give all those videos a further sense of importance specifically to the people who watched it because those times are now lost to us, somewhat like nostalgic memories of our past. My dad was a huge fan because he deeply resonates with their "memento mori" message, and that the goods times we have right now should be cherished because everything has to eventually end.
