Decipher request - "Bottom of the list" "first in load order" "top of your mods"

Sorry for being a noob but I just need someone to explain to me what all these thing mean. Pretend i'm 5, tell me what these phrases mean please. Because i have a pretty high end computer, and I get CTD kinda frequently. Also my frames are always super rough, dancing between 15 and 60 (i have the GPU locked at 60 for consistency). Is priority the same thing as being first in the load order? The bottom of the load order? Because on some of the mod pages the context would suggest that their mod needs to be a high priority, but then it also specifically says to put it at the END of the your mods. Does end mean bottom? I'm so confused and I'm sure im probably over thinking this.
