Create a follower from a ECE preset ?

Hello, there is a way for me to create a follower from a ECE preset ? 

 

First i use racemenu, should i switch to ECE for it ? 

 

(I seen some post but it was for Skyrim LE i don't know if there is a difference)

 

I don't really know what other info i need to tell you, but thanks for any reply

 

edit: oh, and do someone now if i still need to start a new game after swap into ECE from RM ? 

and if i swap into ECE, did i loose all my RM preset or did i can still use them with ECE ?
