Any mods to prevent bastards being revealed?

Was just curious if there are any mods that would greatly increase the chance that your ruler could sleep with other people's spouses and single women without them possibly revealing true parentage of child from the affair?

 

Even with max skill stats, there are still occasions when my ruler is revealed as an adulterer/fornicator.

 

Admittedly, in my less serious playthroughs, I tend to play like a deadbeat dad lol, having a couple legitimate heirs with my wife, but fathering dozens of hidden bastards with various married and single women. I like the idea of filling my realm with many of my descendants, though I'm too lazy to micromanage a bunch of bastards or having concubines/consorts, I prefer having hidden bastards where the parents who raise them dictate what they do. Then 100 years down the road, I'll realize how interconnected my legitimate descendants are with my hidden illegitimate descendants.

 

Anyone know of a mod that could help with this? Thanks

I am wondering the same thing. It is really annoying some foreign rulers announce themselves being cuckolds when they have nothing in their power to do anything about it. Much more reasonable way of AI dealing with those bastards would be sending them to monastery or secretly having them killed, imprisoning their wife on house arrest and giving the AI CB against the offending party (player).

 

I tend to do the same thing, especially when my guy has acquired lots of hereditary traits to fill them on your kingdom and any renowned house you are likely to marry in the future.

 

BTW. I also noticed while playing with concubines that when you dismiss a concubine while she is pregnant with your legit child to take another concubine in her stead, the child is actually born as legit non-penalized child instead of child of concubine.

 

Also it is strange that while having four concubines in a religion that allows males to fuck anybody they like, the wife still gets huge -60 penalty from being unfaithful (plus another second one if she happens to be your soulmate) if you make child with  unmarried woman in your court. Why is it so different than doing the same after you have taken her as concubine?

 

If your wife is your soulmate and you are caught of cheating, the penalties for cheating, unfaithfulness and breaking our vows adds to staggering -150 opinion...

YES, it can be almost completely done:

Here is how to greatly limit stupid cheating and bastardy confessions.

1. Delete game\events\secret_events\secret_bastard_events.txt (yup, delete, not alter or sth, throw this shit away!)
2. Paste adultery_events.txt to \game\events\relations_events from this file https://workupload.com/file/qRAqQbY2BMY (1.1.2-based)

Now cheating is more challenging and more realistic!
