SexoutTryout [Outdated and Locked]

Sunny might smoke because she gets standard sandbox npc idles which most followers don`t have when told to wait. I am not aware of any sexout mods that introduce smoking for followers either, though their are some sandbox packages on the nexus which might do that.

fomods are pretty easy to install. Since Pride helped me get FOMM so it did not flip out when I tried to install something, I use only that to install 7z files and find fomods pretty helpful.

 

While I appreciate why having 7z would be a thing a lot of people would want to have (more then one way to install) the downside is it is a lot easier to screw up installing a 7z, and I can understand frustration at a long list of people not following directions.  FOMOD prevents that.

This final tryout fmod is based on Loogies plugins 2012-11-15?

They have the same checksum as these (exception SexoutPowderGangers.esp)

 

 

I have found Tryout Plugins 02102013 on my HD, does someone know the differences?

Not that big a deal but the Powder Ganger Slave Collar in the PG tryout plugin [ARMO:xx0313DF] disappears during sex animations. It's kind of weird for it to keep disappearing but it's not exactly a priority to fix either. Just thought I'd mention it.

 

I've noticed a few dialogue responses in the Powder Ganger tryout don't match the actions also. Let's see:

[iNFO:xx03CA29] ('I do, and I'm going to cum so hard down you're throat you're going to be too full for dinner!' in GRUP Topic Children of PowderOral "PowderOral" [DIAL:xx0212C0] --> Calls for vaginal, should be oral

 

All the other actions seem to match the dialogue response. Though I can look through again later, kind of skimmed the fiends since there were a lot of drug variations.

Not sure what you're using to get a checksum, but these should be based on whatever the latest version of Tryout was. Even if I mixed them up somehow and accidentally based them off an older version, I also made changes to SexoutLegion so it wouldn't match.

Hmm....the issue is if they are based on the old tryout esps from November and you didn't implement the form id list fix from february they will cause slow downs, frame rate loss and eventual crashes to desktop and so forth. If the fomod needs to be rebuilt I have them kicking around somewhere if you need them uploaded and no one else can get em for you.

I am not aware of the specific changes made to the plugins to properly clear the formlist. If someone who is certain they have the fixed versions could compare them to the current versions and determine whether or not the current versions have the fix, that would be very helpful.

I compared SexoutLegion.esm from Tryout Final with the version from 02102013.

Hi all.

 

First post here, after I've been experimenting a bit with various mods.

 

I think the Tryout mods are interesting concepts, but in my opinion they are lacking in execution, which means I'll probably stop using them, and only use the black screen and the consequences mod.

 

My biggest beef is that everyone seems to be exhibisionists. So, you roll around in the middle of the street, very unpleasant already, or on the floor of a casino. and noone reacts or even looks.

 

I know nothing about scripting, but would a follow option be that hard to implement?

 

For female prostitutes something lke: "Follow me, hon, and remember, payment before fun."

 

For just having fun with boomers/khans/kings it also feels utterly out of place to have your character fucking in front of everyone. Here I'd find it much more immersive if the guy approaching your character took her/him somewhere private.

It's theoretically possible, but the exhibition aspect of a lot of most of the mods is as intended. Maybe a follow option could be implemented for Khans and Kings. Will add it to the list of future tasks.

I was thinking about a few things:

 

The Powder Gangers seem like schoolyard bullies, if schoolyard bullies wore bulletproof vests and threw dynamite around. So there should be a few ways to make them back off when they approach you, since bullies usually back off in the face of serious opposition.

 

Speech: *Bluff* Do you have *any* idea who you are dealing with?

Unarmed: *Knee meets gonads* (inflict enough fatigue damage to make the guy fall to the ground)

Melee Weapons X: *pull knife to the guy's throat* "Nuh-uh, I don't think so!"

Guns: *Pull gun and aim for the jaw from under* "Nuh-uh, I don't think so!"

Energy Weapons: *pulls energy pistol and aim for the jaw from under* "Nuh-uh, I don't think so!"

Explosives/toughness/hit the deck: *Pull grenade* "I'm tough enough to survive this, how about you?"

Sneak: *Show dynamite and weapons* "These are yours? You were so caught up with my body that you left yourself defenseless..."

Terrifying presence: "Go ahead and I'll cut you dick off!"

 

Most of those could work against rough clients too if your decide to make your courier whore herself in the Atomic Wrangler. In fact, a bunch of overconfident gamblers are surely easier to scare off than powder gangers. Once should be enough with gangers. It's not overt aggression, it's asserting yourself as the Alpha, which seems to be how the gangers operate.

 

Legion would be harder, as they are a bunch of fanatical weirdos but still, if you can make Vulpes Inculta, or the mighty Caesar, in front of his Praetorian Guards, scream in panic, a bunch of legionaries could be made to back off.

 

Terrifying presence: *Act creepy enough to weird a legionary out.* (*He* chickened out for no reason, you're all clean.)

Speech: *lie* "I'm sick with a deadly STD."

Medicine:  *lie* "I'm sick with *made up disease with made up believable and scary symptoms*. And it's transmitted by sex."

 

The joys of putting bullies back in their place... This would be awesome!

I'll preface this post by saying that I will go with the majority opinion here as this won't actually be too difficult to implement. My personal thought is that pulling a gun on one of the Powder Gangers is probably going to get you killed. As for the Legion, if the Player wants to chase the Legionaries off all they have to do is say they have the Mark of Caesar. Of course, it might be good to just have roleplaying options, but...

 

What does everyone else think?

[Joke based on actual gameplay experience] Pulling a gun on a powder ganger is probably going to get him killed. [/joke] I've already soloed the NCRCF at level 1 with a varmint rifle and a leather armor, and it's not particularly hard. But maybe they are suicidal enough to attack someone who obviously knows what she's doing even if she isn't exactly hostile, just showing that she won't let herself be pushed around. Gameplay experience tells me that these guys are a joke, unless you give them access to DLC weapons (as a mod I have does), and in which case, they become somewhat of a threat to a low level courier.

 

Anyway, that's only my 2 cents.

 

Edit: Well, maybe Eddie and his bodyguards are a reasonable threat...

Allow me to rephrase, then. It's not going to get you killed, it would make them go hostile. Honestly, though, I wouldn't consider myself an expert on the Powder Gangers since my PC stays well away from them unless she's planning to wipe them out. That's why I'm leaving this open for other opinions.

I get what you're saying. They just gave me the feeling of a high school bully clique with better equipment, especially with this mod, so I kinda figured out that unless you were actually hostile and trying to kill them, showing them you mean business and displaying enough skill to potentially wipe them out in a second would work. I mean, Joe Cobb, for all his tough talk in the prospector saloon, wouldn't get near the gas station occupied by a lone merchant without 5 guys backing him up, and Cobb is the one with the better armor and weapon, a lone bounty hunter stays in their territory, not even acting hostile, just making an unconvincing act of being a merchant, but no ganger try to attack him, or even trap him, instead, they send the courier (assuming he/she has not gotten a reputation worse than Shunned), to deal with him, but I'll let the expert on the topic tell their opinion.

I'm of the opinion that A) If a particular group approaching me bothers me, I can set the approach rate to 0% and not worry about it

B) I'd rather have a dialogue option that had at least a fair chance of succeeding. With Powder Gangers, it could be as simple as "Sorry, Eddie wanted to see me. Can't keep the boss waiting." 

C) I'd also prefer an option where I don't have to pick which "hole" to offer. The NCR seem to be the only group where you can leave the choice up to them, the others you make an offer and they either accept or choose something else. With Legion especially, I'd like a response like "I submit, do with me what you will." I could probably come up with some dialogue if it's desired.

D) I agree that pulling a gun or kneeing the guy in the balls or whatever would turn them hostile. So if you want a hostile response, that's appropriate. But it should be something like "I'm going to shove your dick down your throat and see how you like it, asshole!" [attack] I agree that there is a distinct lack of "I'd rather kill you than fuck you." responses.

It also doesn't make much sense when you already submitted to one of them, like when trying to get in and you offered to suck the guard off, saying "I'm a badass and take no shit from anyone" doesn't really match does it? Now if your character FORCED the guard for sex or other wise let you pass then the "I'm a badass" would fit more. And if you haven't noticed if you do act like a "badass" to eddie you automatically get raped and enslaved.

They will go hostile, and when they do they attack, and if your a lvl 1 fresh out of goodsprings with nothing but the vanilla items they give you then you have a fairly low chance of survival. This is ofcourse if they go hostile while your in the middle of the facility. It's fairly easy to kill them if your not surrounded and have some distance.

Yeah, just saying that the "Aggressive" refusing option wouldn't really work since you already showed your submissive, in which case the refusing option would be more of asking or begging them to reconsider.

 

And the "automatic" part is the bad part: A Level 30 character with 100 in Melee and Unarmed is still going to be subject to this "automatic" process. 

That can be easily fixed me thinks. Just add a condition to the dialogue.  Making that branch of dialogue would actually be harder, i think.

Not necessarily (unless I'm misunderstanding this). When he says "Oh, you thought you had a choice in the matter? Well I'm going to fuck you anyway." (actually paraphrasing here because because I don't have the dialogue open) Instead of proceeding directly to rape, there should be a dialogue response trigger instead like 1. "Fuck you, I'll kill you, you son of a bitch!" [Attack] 2. "Oh god, don't hurt me!" [submit] In the first option they all go hostile and you fight, the second proceeds as normal with the raping.
