Sexlab Expressions not working!

Hey guys, so I recently installed Skyrim SE and modded the shit out of it. Well when I loaded the game and started a sex scene to try things out, my PC and the NPCs facial expressions are blank. Not working at all. I've spent hours trying to see what I did wrong, like uninstalling/reinstalling mods, and tweaking. At this point I'm drawing a blank. I'd really appreciate some help! I know this is an old post, but I've been running into the same issue. I'm beginning to suspect there may be an issue with Sexlab itself actually. I could be wrong, and I absolutely appreciate the work everyone does here, so I am in no way trying to point fingers.

 

I'll just tell you what I have discovered: After banging my head against the wall for hours trying various combinations of my mod list, I tried a very simple setup with only Sexlab, then used the built in animation editor to run a few animations. Aaaaannnnnndddd....... Nothing. The expressions seemed to work about 20% of the time, and I was unable to determine why they would play sometimes and other times not.

 

I don't know what to do about it, or even if my testing was enough to guarantee it's an issue with Sexlab. If I had the skills I'd take a look myself, but as is I can only hope another wayward soul will find their way here and have the skills to shed some light on the situation.
