MythicMiss Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Need some insight on this. Every time an NPC werewolf reverts to their human form, my game crashes. Happens with both male and female NPCs (namely Farkas and Aela). They can turn into werewolves with no problem, and the player character can turn into a werewolf and back into human without a problem. The crash only occurs when NPC werewolves of either sex revert to human. Visually, it looks like the beast form glows and disintegrates, but just before the original NPC character model re-appears, the game crashes. Â I have a lot of mods installed, but I don't think I have anything that could have this effect. What could be the problem, and where should IÂ start looking?
Tlam99 Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 do you use replacers for Farkas, Aela ? That's almost always the reason for ctd like this.
MythicMiss Posted October 10, 2020 Author Posted October 10, 2020 I do, but I don't think that's the problem, at least it wasn't before. I should have mentioned that this is a fairly recent problem, occurring only after I had updated a number of older mods. I'll see if I can get a log of what's going on scriptwise.
