The video you're showing is for Skyrim LE (Legendary Edition), which uses HDT-PE, and works correctly with all the bells working with Joy of Perspective. As far as SSE, the port on nexus hasn't been working for a lot of people as the mod is supposed to in first person with modded armors (invisible bodies, missing legs, floating armor textures, and peeking at their character model's hollow insides, that sort of goodness), let alone activating the physics option, which for the most part has been stiff for everybody (older posts suggest it *may* have worked once upon a time, but it suggests a bit unlikely). Physics works in third person, but not in first; custom armors must be patched individually to work w/ the port, or they'd have invisible textures in first person. (though a script file for SSEedit exists on Nexus to just batch create it)

Both directories of the LE and SSE port for JOP are identical, and both follow groovtama's XP32/MSE fomod patched skeleton .nif file, so that should mean both versions of the game identify first person and third person meshes/skeletons with the same behavior. Some people that have been using LOOT and MO2 to observe issues have been guessing the bugs may be caused by mismatched form ID or other value counter, or just bad code. Best case scenario it's just some element between the 1st person skeleton.nif and one of those elements to be tweaked to talk to each other and be compatible again with HDT SMP.

So for now it's just a stiff first-person animation and a workaround for us plebs ?

If you're still committed to sticking with SSE instead of LE , make sure to make JOP the last plugin so it has higher priority in your modlist (solves the missing limbs). And here's the link to the SSEedit fix for armors to work with the port (solves non-vanilla armor being just Harry's Invisible Cloaks):

Auto Patching - VIS - JOP - Disenchant All - Weightless
