Making an interaction mod

This might be a weird place to put this, since I would want this for plot reasons (no judgement either way), but what would I need to make a rape mod according to my specifications? I know one already exists, but I would want to write my own text for it, and add a lot more detail into how it affects the characters involved. For instance:

- Rape becomes a Secret. In male-dominated societies, it's for both the man and the woman; in more equal societies, it's just for the man. If the secret is discovered, whoever it affects loses Opinion with everything for a while. (This could be expanded to fit multiple gender combinations, of course, but that would be for heterosexual rape.)

- Different text for if the victim likes the rapist at the time of the assault, as opposed to if they're already enemies.

- If the family members of the victim find out, they lose massive amounts of Opinion on the rapist. If a family member is the Liege of the rapist, it becomes a valid reason for arrest.

- The amount of Opinion loss between victim and rapist depends on the victim's traits. The same goes for fear modifiers. A Vengeful victim hates the attacker more and is less likely to fear them, whereas a Shy victim loses less Opinion (to stimulate behaviour rather than the victim's actual feelings, because that shit's complex) and gains more fear.

- If someone who's sworn to chastity is raped, they can lose their position or become excommunicated.

- Depending on who their victim is, how the pope feels about them, how important they are, etc, a rapist can also be excommunicated if it's found out.

- Children born as a result of rape get a lower starting relationship with the raped parent.

In general, I want it to be less a single event and more an in-depth alteration of the dynamic between two characters that can potentially affect both their lives. I've never made a mod before, but I'm interested in learning (although the fact that the only good operational computer I own is shared with a parent could be an issue). Is this something anyone would be willing to help me with, or offer advice?

I've actually been working on exactly this. Not sure exactly what you want help with though, it's a massive undertaking that would be hard to sum up in a forum post.

That's a helpful response in and of itself, actually. Writing is my forte, so the plot elements and the text are what's important to me, but I know jack shit about coding and modding. I do want to learn, but if this is a huge project I'd need to use the good computer for it, and I....can't exactly tell this parent what I'd be making, heh. So thank you! I might have to hold off on getting into modding at all until I have my own good computer to use for it. In the meantime I'll be watching for your project ^^

You truly don't need a good computer for the code editing that is the core of crusader kings modding.

Almost any cheap laptop can run VS Code, which is free and has custom extensions for Paradox scripting language.

Of course testing stuff later requires running the game which takes more resources, but using placeholders for the text will enable you to check if your logic is doing what you intended without making NSFW contents obvious.

Thank you so much! I'll have to look into that, and see if my personal computer can handle CK3 enough for me to use it. I'll probably do any testing on my dad's if I get started. Thanks!
