Superior Belly Model

Hello LL Community,

during the many many years of skyrim modding, being amazed by the possibilities and work you modders do, and understanding none of it, there's *one* question I really can't wrap my head around.

I'm a big inflation fan, and I really enjoy the various mods we have here. (including pregnancy mods). But all of them use the same flawed method of belly node scaling, and we all know the limits. Overstretched, or overinflated nodes cause the infamous "torpedo belly" and just don't look/feel right.

But there IS one mod out there, that does it just right!

Many of you may already know what i'm talking about, even tho the fetish diverts in a different direction. But I'm amazed how smoothly the Devourment mod belly works. I mean it has everything. It's super smooth, its scaleable almost infinetly (scales with belly node scaling), hell it's even animateable, it works with HDT, it's just.....exactly what I always hoped for in an inflation mod.

Now I know the author of the devourment mod somehow vanished, an I know it is frowned upon in the modding community to use assets without permission. That I understand. But what I don't understand is, why has no one even *tried* a similar approach? Really the *only* thing, that is not 100% perfect with that belly model, is the slight issue, that the belly is "dragged behind" with HDT enabled, and I can't get it to behave like boobs, but I'm sure someone who knows what they're doing could even fix that part.

So to shorten it up my real question is: Why are there no inflation mods with a similar method. I'd be delighted to see someone try.

Thanks

Did you try to play with the sliders of the Sexlab Inflation Framework a little?

You can create your own belly scaling with it for most of the mods.

Yes, of course I did. And the SL_IF does a wonderful job for it's created purpose. It works perfect, as long as you keep the values at a reasonable level.
But as soon as you try to make a step in the direction of "hyper" inflation, the mechanics reach their limits very quickly.

And besides, my question actually was more of a "why didn't anybody consider doing it *this* way" instead of a "the way it is done sucks".

I'm happy the way things work, they're fine. I'm just curious why nobody tried a different approach.
