DCL Chloe Quest reset

Hi everyone

 

Please bear with me this is my first ever post on here! I'm hoping someone can help me reset the Chloe quest as its bugged out on me which I wasn't too bothered about as I was just going to ignore it and have done for quite a while , however because the quest is in my journal unless I disable Cursed Loot I can't fast travel at all. Trying to ride everywhere on my horse or coc'ing everywhere is getting really tedious but if I enable Cursed Loot and go back to Chloe in Helgen her dialogue options are not showing up, I can't release her from the yoke and if I go to search the bandit chest near Whiterun there is nothing relevant to the quest in there. I have a sinking feeling that my options are either start a new game or disable Cursed Loot permanently

setstage dcur_chloequest 1000 will end the quest then enter a cave/building then go back outside ,or  using tfc and then disabling chloe before you get close enough to her usually prevents then quest being activated.

The Chloe Quest is just straight up not fun. I stuck with it till it told me to hobble back to Whiterun from Dawnstar. I REALLY wish there had been a disclaimer that rescuing Chloe would arbitrarily disable your fast travel for the rest of the game!

just got to that point myself and agreed! the novelty of being reduced to a snails pace in a gaudy pink catsuit wore off in like 3 minutes and I was just getting progressively more frustrated and annoyed until I reached that point and just ended up reloading a save from WAAAAY earlier before I bothered to recruit chloe, I've not actually enaged with the dcur quests until recently, are they all that tedious? christ.
