CanisLupusFan Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Hello! I am trying to convert some .hkx files to .kf, however as I enter the following command in cmd: >hkxcmd exportkf "skeleton.hkx" "Input" "Output" The conversion fails, as the Output folder remains empty, and I only get this message: >------------------------------------------------------------------ > Havok - Build (20101115) > Version 2010.2.0-r1 > Base system initialized. >------------------------------------------------------------------ >Havok License Keys: > Physics : PcXs (expires PERPETUAL) > Animation : PcXs (expires PERPETUAL) >------------------------------------------------------------------ Could anyone please explain what this means and what am I doing wrong? Thanks.
Pogogo000 Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 First of all did you make sure your files are 32bit oldrim hkx and not 64bit as hkxcmd cannot convert 64bit hkx files. Secondly I would recommend this as it is a bit easier to use https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17109?tab=description. If you need to backport the hkx files here is a guide https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/104459 I usually get this error due to 64 bit files or the file name is wrong

I was indeed using SSE's 64-bit .hkx files. Using the 32-bit ones worked! And thank you for the recommendations, these will surely come in handy.
Pogogo000 Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Glad I could help. Oh and one last tip. Always use the 32bit hkx files and them convert them to SSE when they are done or to test. No tool that I know of is able to mess with 64bit hkx files.
