Untolddead Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 So I'm working on a mod and I was thinking it'd be interesting if you changed culture/religion through a chain of events. I know most of the changes in CK were done through an event at the start. But I thought it'd be fun to have the player find a holy site and then explore it where sexy events ensue. The choices could even affect the religion to some extent. Anyways long story short my question is would it be better to have a decision that the player can choose right off the bat to start the chain or better to have it be random like most ck3 events? I'll be putting up the straight start conversion probably next week. The mod will be an Amazonian mod focusing on lesbian events.
Darsel Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 It kind of reminds me of the random event during pilgrimage where you can adopt a nudist faith. Something along those lines where you have a decision to 'explore ruins' or some such every 5~ years with different random events would probably work quite nicely for the narrative. That said, it's largely a design decision; no real right or wrong answer. I'm sure some people will prefer either option.
798david Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 i think its a good ideal but I would not known how to do it. I do think it would be fun
