Character Race - Follower

Well, maybe this is a silly question, but is there a way to convert an unique race character to be a follower?

Because ... I just can't find a Marie Rose follower as good as this one in this race, which is great, but it's a race, you know, it can only be used with the main character.

Does she have HDT Hair? If yes it would be better to look for follower mod with HDT wig.
