Kain82 Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 I am playing as a vampire/necromancer, and when I turn into a vampire my characters eyes don't change color,they stay the same color. At first I though it was a problem with Pandorable's Lamae's Gaze mod. But I deactivated it and still have the same problem. This is a fairly recent problem. It has never happened before. Plus since last year the game has no sound. I checked the audio options and they're set to default. But still no sound. I think this is a punisment from the Daedra for buying the Saints and Seducers mod through the Creation Shop. Can anyone help?

Just to put the blame on someone else For sounds: check if you don't have any mods that one way or another can't interfere For Vampires: You may need the Better vampire eyes and fang mod , or Better vampire. further verification, would be to attempt the transformation with the chat open console and insert this string : player.setrace nordracevampire (if it were another race, just replace nord with the preselected race) , press enter . If correct, there will be a temporary T-Pose of a few seconds. Open alternative racemenu, and you should see yourself transformed into a vampire
Kain82 Posted August 27, 2020 Author Posted August 27, 2020 Thanks for the reply. Now I've tried the Better Vampire Eyes and Fangs mod before and still have the same problem. Still I prefer Pandorable's 'Lamae's Gaze' mod, since I use their npc replacer mods, and the vamps all use Lamae's Gaze. This is a fairly recent problem and can't remember if it's just because of a newer mod I recently installed. I even tried without the Lamae's Gaze mod and the vanilla vamp eyes don't display. I have tried that console command. I also tried a mod called 'Startgame Monsters' which let's me become a vamp or werewolf from the start, and I've also tried 'Tainted Blood' which let's me both a vamp and werewolf. Nothing works. I will look at my download history on Nexus. I will also post my load order after I finish trimming down the mod list. Once again thank you for the reply.

Kain82 Posted August 28, 2020 Author Posted August 28, 2020 Okay I disabled the High Poly Head mod through Vortex, and now when my character changes into a vampire his eyes change color. Now I must find out why my Skyrim is the only game I own that has no sound.

For verification, try any type of audio . Isn't it by chance that the PC audio is too low in volume to be heard by Skyrim?
