sniperdoc Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I'm having some mesh/texture issues. I just recently started playing as a male character, and in this case a particularly tall Orc Barbarian. I think the height is 1.06 or 1.07. I don't know if that matters, but I figured may as well disclose as much info as possible. You can read the details of the problem here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/644176-unp-dimonized-blessed-body-tweak/page-193&do=findComment&comment=7559050You can answer either on this forum or on "that other site"... either way, I'm ok checking both. Any assistance is appreciated.
Lagoon0654 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Sounds like the body textures from the AP mod aren't compatible to the current body mesh you have.
Wast1980 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Looks like a CBBE Body with UNP textures. Depending on what body you want to use you should reinstall the bodymod (textures and meshes)
sniperdoc Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Thanks for the response guys. Sounds like the body textures from the AP mod aren't compatible to the current body mesh you have. Ok, I didn't know that AP had textures. However, then why does it work when I play a female? Looks like a CBBE Body with UNP textures. Depending on what body you want to use you should reinstall the bodymod (textures and meshes) Well, I already tried that and it didn't work and aside from that, I thought I mentioned that I use the UNP Replacer Configuration Package which has pretty much ALL UNP/UNPB/BBP mods in one mod and comes with an installer script to select what you want? I did completely remove the body mods, animations, etc and put them back in (which, incidentally actually fixed a right breast flattening issue I was having with NPCs while playing as a female, this was something that I hadn't happen before and I just recently noticed.) I had completely started over with brand new games (even deleted the entire save game folder contents). One character was a male orc with 1.06 or 1.07 height, the other is a female dark elf with 1.01 or 1.02 height. I had all the mods running when I created them, and I had all the mods reinstalled when both characters where already at past Helgen and at Whiterun. Here's what I tried again today at lunch. I removed all the character mods and put them back in. I loaded a save as my male orc, checked the texture issue on the female NPC's, it was still there. Incidentally, I observed for BBP, which also was not working. I quit to Menu, started a save with my female dark elf, I cast the "show me/undress" spell on the same females I checked when I was playing as the male character, and the textures lined up fine, and the breasts were varied in size between NPCs AND had BBP functionality. Any other ideas? T_T
Wast1980 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I remembered that animated prostitution installs a femalebody_rude_0 / 1 .nif bodymodel which is used in 'action scenes'. You will have to copy your femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif and rename the copy to femalebody_rude_0.nif and femalebody_rude_1.nif. The files are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets
Lagoon0654 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Well I believe AP only uses a different body mesh, so whatever body textures you currently use doesn't appear to be fully compat- with the APs "rude" body. That said I don't use AP, only going off what I remember when I looked at the files. Wast seems to know more about it than I do. Good luck.

Does playing as a female somehow affect all the NPC female mesh/textures?
sniperdoc Posted March 14, 2013 Author Posted March 14, 2013 @Cornbread from post: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/13142-unpb-vanilla-remodel-conversions-updated-weekly/page-14?do=findComment&comment=338796 So, the pieces become clearer... Since I had started a game without follower mods, pretty much only just body mods, and had explored a lot of Skyrim, I guess most of the NPC's weights were set at 100. So when I DID start using Beans and Fabulous Followers, it didn't cause a problem, since everyone was "set" at 100? So, that would make sense...? Ugggh... Reinstall Ragdoll... sigh... can you maybe tell me what I would need to overwrite and what I shouldn't overwrite...? I just got BBP working again without the boob squash. Maybe if we meet up on IM (any service is fine, Google, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ) you I could tell you what I'm seeing and you can say "overwrite/don't overwrite"...? I use the following body mods, and forgive me, I'm not at my home pc at the moment and am doing this completely by memory: UNP Replacer Config Pack- -UNPB -UNPB FItness no abs -No bronze skin -imperfect clean -xpm skeleton -2.4 anims -BBP Then I usually install XP32's Animation Pack: -Skeleton with 1h and dagger -less slanted momo-dash -high heel walk -forward and backward jump -male and female anims -no pcea/vanilla I don't overwrite anything from the meshes folder if it doesn't say ANIMATIONS in the path. When I had Ragdolls installed, I would have it installed first, then UNP Replacer, then Anim pack. I would overwrite anything from Ragdolls. (since I use NMM, I tells me from what mod the file I'm overwriting is) The one thing I'm curious of, I get an overwrite prompt of a file from FNIS. I think it's 0_master.hkx or something? I should overwrite with a file from the Anim pack, is that right? Another thing, if I didn't install the Animations pack skeleton, then I would get an error in FNIS, because the male skeleton only had 99 bones. So, I'm assuming that what UNP Replacer pack does is only install the skeleton for the female and not the male. In essence if i didn't select "both female and male" and just chose "female" only, then FNIS shouldn't throw up an error.
Wast1980 Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Please try as I told you: Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets. Copy femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif to a new folder(create one). Then navigate to the new folder and rename femalebody_0.nif to femalebody_rude_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif to femalebody_rude_1.nif. Then copy the renamed files back to \character assets (overwrite the old ones). If you are not sure about what you are doing then make a backup (copy, rar archive, as you like) of your \character assets folder. The original femalebody_rude_x.nif file is a CBBE body(and uses the default skintextures, in your case the unp textures). So you have to overwrite it with your UNP body.
sniperdoc Posted March 14, 2013 Author Posted March 14, 2013 Hey Wast... I've actually removed AP completely. However, that didn't fix the neck gap or the texture issue. I ended up uninstalling all the body mods, removed Ragdolls and Beans Badass Women, reinstalled UNP Replacer Configuration pack using the above info, then installed the Animation Pack and the textures seem to be fine now. However, I'm still trying to figure out the neck gap thing on some of the NPC's and some followers. I'm going to try re-installing Ragdolls and starting a new game to see if the Helgen Imperial in the heavy imp armor still has a neck gap. That'll let me know if it was Bean's that was screwing me over. However, I don't think beans touches those NPC's... which would be the odd part. Did you still want me to try your solution in this case?
Wast1980 Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 I was focused on the screenshot you've posted on nexus forums. If you have AP uninstalled, forget my solution. I read nothing about a neck gap. Neck seam or gap? Seams are texture related (so far as I know there isn't a good solution for male characters). Gap are mesh related. I don't think that ragdolls is causing the problem, it just contains skeleton.nif files of all creatures and male/female skeletons. About custom followers/npc and color mismatching(seams): I know about this problem but I don't know how to solve it. Perhaps you should post to the Skyrim Technical Support subforum
sniperdoc Posted March 14, 2013 Author Posted March 14, 2013 Yeah I saw that too late after I posted and was just figuring a moderator would move the thread.
