ewt Posted August 18, 2020 Posted August 18, 2020 My game updated about an hour ago and I currently have the latest version of wickedwhims and everything else is up to date. I was playing the game before the update and everything was working fine. Every sims that was eligible to have sex could have sex, but now after the update, my main sims (who are two married males) can no longer have sex. However, each of the sims can have sex with other sims, no matter what gender they are. I'm so confused about this and have no idea what to do. Please help!!

I noticed the update for TS4 shortly after I updated Origin a little earlier. I have auto-update turned off just for this reason, on the off chance the patch will break a mod, or it itself has serious issues that needs fixing by EA (like ECO). It means I have to switch Origin into offline mode to play, but that's no biggie. I always wait a day or two then start checking my mods to see if updates are required and in the works or completed, or has been cleared has still good. Have you tested to see if it's the game patch itself or a broken mod? Also, did you get any LE's. To test to see if is the patch. Temporily remove your mod folder and go into the game and see if they can enjoy each other company without the mods install. Just be sure NOT to save when you go to exit the game. Don't forget to delete you localthumbscache.package before launching the game which begs the question, after the update, did you delete the cache before running the game? If not, try deleting it and test with mods still in and if they still fail, do the remove mod test, again deleting the cache.

I did get an LE but all it said was "<?xml version="1.0" ?><root> </root>" I also deleted the localthumbscache because I update ww at the same time of the patch

It might not be a permanent fix, but if it works then it works ?
