Strip club issues

So I decided to test out the new strip club feature but some of the aspects don't seem to be working quite right.

 

For one thing the mod seems a bit shaky in recognizing household members as employees. I set up a household intending to have them be the employees of the club and it only seems to have half worked. The one male employee for example is listed on the management panel as an employee but when I try to assign a created male outfit the game steadfastly maintains that I have no male employees. Another employee this one female shows on the list but then during business hours doesn't have the listing over her head as a dancer at all.

 

Also I don't know if I'm just missing something here but I can't seem to assign tasks to any of them. Even when the strip club option does show up assign tasks isn't even an option.

 

edit: To update. The assign task option is popping up now for most of them. I don't know why it didn't before but either way it's mostly working now. The one exception to this is the previously mentioned female employee. She still doesn't have a tag over her name and I still can't assign tasks to her. I'm wondering if it might be because she's a ghost but I don't know if that would matter since the mod still let me hire her to start with.

 

Also is it possible to hire a household member as janitor? I can set them as dancers but janitor seems to require it to be someone outside the household.

There is a base game issue with hiring family members as employees (Last I heard), I don't think it applies here though.  It seems to be just random per game.  One game I started did not have family members, next game had one of the 2 I wanted.  Make sure the Family Member is unemployed.  Not sure if it re pools per game start or day or what.  There is a command to force I saw in another thread.

I'm not seeing anything in particular that would check if a Sim is playable or not, but it might be one of these quirks with SimFilters that I'm not 100% sure about and would need to investigate further.

As for an employee showing up without an employee title - something prevented that Sim from starting their "job situation", which could be caused by another mod or there's a possibility it's something in the game. If you can, try sending that employee home and they should come back soon after.

The only time assigning tasks is not possible is when a Sim is dancing. Otherwise it would be when a Sim isn't an employee that's currently working, which comes back to the thing I explained above.

 

 

As for hiring household Sims, the game actually prevents you from hiring anybody that is currently present within the loaded zone. If you want to hire someone from your household, make sure to first send them home.

i once owned a strip club with full staff and everything worked fine.... but then i sold it and built another one with a different manager.

the issue is i want to hire the dancers that used to work in the old strip club that i sold and then deleted, but for some reason those dancers are not available for hire.

I am having problems with the strip club mod also. One sim has a strip club and it works fine but my other sims has one but it will not let me use it and can not sell it 

no shoe on phone when they go to the club.

When you sold the club all the workers likely stayed there to continue working just like in RL.

If they are working then they are not available to hire I suspect.

 

You would have to buy back the club and fire those sims first to make them available.

 

Have you visited the old club to see if they are still working?

Use 'Control Any Sim' mod to take temp control of any sim and make them quit job and then maybe you can hire them again.

Don't forget to release them from control when finished and before they leave.

If they get away they will show up in your household panel below as 'away'.

Use the relationship panel on the right and select sim: Action > Don't Control Sim

Are both sims in the same household?

Maybe the one with the working strip club has to also be the one that owns the second club too?

Don't know if one household can even own/run 2 strip clubs.

I got to work it was the lot I was putting on for some resson it would not work on that lot I change lot and it works fine now ?

Not sure if I understand, but the lot you want to put your Strip Club on has to be Generic, not some other type.

I keep getting an orange warning error on wicked whims and my game runs really slow whenever I open the club. Any ideas why?

Depends on what the warning says.

It can say different things, noone on the forum is clairvoyant.

Im having an issue as well where i cant assign tasks to any of my strippers either. Under the strip club tag (regardless of if they are dancing or not) the only options i have are to 1) design a uniform, 2) check up on, 3) praise, or 4) fire. thats it. No assign task nothing. Ive been looking everywhere trying to figure out whats wrong. its 100% up to date.  Im getting a wicked whims exception error (wickedwhims_exception.txt) that is as follows:

Hi, I'm currently having an issue with my strip club. My sim bought the club, assigned roles and everything fine. Came back to play the next day, and now the shoe icon is gone. It's there when my sim is on his home lot, and the option is, "travel to strip club" but when my sim gets to the club, the icon is gone. I can't access any of the management stuff, nor can I assign any roles by clicking on the strippers. I don't know why since it was working fine yesterday.

Hello i have a problem in the sims 4 the customers stay out of the my strip club why? They stay in front of the lot and I don't understand how to get them in automatically i have a much sofa but i don't understand

My club is working pretty well except for one thing. Once the 'girls' are done servicing a client, they're stuck in the room (and the client as well). I have the doors set for escort business only (opening outward), but unlock them doesn't change anything, so I doubt it's that. Only way I've found to get a playable sim out of the room is using the M key for travel.

If you used "move objects" to decorate the room, maybe there is some routing problem. If that is the case try moving the objects and decorations around and see if it works.

I cant hire dancers. It only allows me to hire janitors and everyone keeps leaving because they cant buy drinks/watch the dancing unless im doing it.

Since the update, visitors to the strip club spawn outside the lot and then disappear/leave the lot.  No one comes in anymore.  Before the update, I had a lot full of visitors.  Now, only the strippers come inside the club.  The only way I could get any visitors, is if a stripper goes outside to charm each visitor one-by-one for a lap dance.  This is sooooo disappointing.  Now, all the strippers are still inside the club standing around static even though the club is closed.  I want to cry.   My strip club was my favorite part of playing this game! ?

I'm running my first club and the base limit of 6 dancers aren't cutting it. I have tried to increase my dancer limit to 12 by visiting my club and using: ww.set_stripclub_employee_pool_size 12 

I hit enter and the code appears to be accepted, but when I go into manage employees I still just have 6. Is there something else I need to do to put the change into effect? It seems like it should be just a simple code entry. If anyone has an alternate method to up my dancer limit some I would really appreciate the info share.

The pool size command is intended to increase the size of available dancers to hire.

What you want to do is increase the amount of dancers that you can actually hire.

ww.set_stripclub_dancers_employee_limit <amount>

 

There is also a command to hire specific dancers as well. This comes with the stipulation that they're not already working in another job.

ww.stripclub_hire_dancer_sim <first_name> <last_name>

Having a strip club error. Sim owns club -set to generic of course- or at least he used to. He still owns this "generic" property but despite having all the necessary "fixings" the heel icon does not appear on the phone. No one shows up to work. I stopped playing that household on that save for a lil while (a week or 2) so the strip club wasn't technically in use but it did work at one point.

i keep getting orange error message each time a customer orders a drink and the drinks dont add the bar tally so i cant make any profit.
