rtdst Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 I have been trying to get the armor replacer portion of this Skyrim LE mod to work with Special Edition. The armor replacer (under optional files) is just a simple Texture/Mesh replacement. I ran it through Nif Optimizer so it would work with SE, but the game crashes any time it tries to load one of the guard armors. I tried Nif Optimizer a few times, verifying with Nif Scan. I even tried downloading Nif Scope and resaving the meshes. However, nothing has fixed the crashes. Could anyone help get this armor replacer working with SE?

Set to process meshes with necessary optimization, and process textures with necessary optimization. The game still crashes when I equip a guard uniform while the replacer is active.

Dorabella Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 You surely miss the fundamental mods like XPMS (S) E , What version have you installed? the 4_0 Topless TNA version?

I lacked any other mods requiring XPMS, so I did not have it installed. I installed XPMS to test and it turns out that was the issue, the guard armor mod requires XPMS (though it was not listed as a requirement). Thanks for helping troubleshoot!
