Outfit body shape doesn't fit correctly with outfit

Recommended Posts

I encountered something with CBBE 3BBB Conversion for Book of UNP where the body shape of the outfit doesn't match my preset giving the 0 weight body. This happens in some armors that has physics so far I encountered this with some Steel Light, Fur, Iron, Steel plate bikinis, Dragonbone and others, I manually fix each by opening them in outfit studio and importing a CBBE Body physic reference to set the body sliders to my custom sliders. I already contacted the mod author but we're having some communication issue I think? anyways, here is a screenshot of the bug (Outfit follows my bodyslide preset but the base 3BBB body does not.

I installed the base mod + the 1.2.4 update.

Simply, your Body morph is smaller than that of the armor. The best method is:

1) Outfitstudio / File / Load Reference, and import your Body morph from the Caliente Tools folder
2) OS / File / import nif and repeat the above step. You will thus have two body morphs on the right palettes
3) OS / Import nif / import the armature nif taken from the Caliente Tools folder
4) Delete the Body morph of the armature, use Key F for any adjustments
5) Right click on the armature, select Copy Bone weight and move the values to the maximum
6) Slider / comform selected and move the sliders to the maximum
7) File / Export to nif and overwrite the armature nif located in the Caliente Tools folder
? Open Bodyslide, batch Build / Select none, search for armature select it, build, conversion is over. Don't active BUILD MORPHS

Thank you so much for the detailed tutorial :D Finally managed to fix the outfits (I tested with a non-physic armor so it has physics now but It can be reverted xD)

Update on this, sorry.
The outfits are fine on 1 weight but as I reduced the weight slide to 0 the outfit clips through the body. Is it because I didn't select the CBBE_Outfit and did the copy bone weights like the outfit?

Once the conversion has been carried out, the clothes are theoretically self-adapting to the various weights. Note that in the game, weight distribution is automatic.
Convert with OS, use a default bodymorph . Usually, after converting / reshaping armor, you text them into play using various weights, and they generally fit perfectly .

You can also reshape them using the same method, with the difference that instead of using the Caliente Tools bodymorph, you will use the one of the meshes (nif_0 and nif_1). This will give you a more realistic overview (nif_0 is weight 0, nif_1 is weight 100). You may need further corrections. Generally, however, for these changes it is sufficient to work on nif_1

Alright thanks for that, looks like I'm gonna have fun with OS for a while:D
