Masters of Olympus: Zeus: Slow God Animations

A long shot at best but does anyone have this working correctly with Windows 7?

 

When using this on Windows 7 the god animations are horribly slow, such as spawing, attacking or buffs. God walking animation and disappearing is fine. Everything else in game is fine as well, it's just the Gods.

 

So some questions

 

- Anyone else have this problem with Windows 7?

- Does it exist on Windows XP? (From what I read it doesn't, but don't have XP so can't check)

- Anyone know how to fix it?

It probably isn't compatible with newer versions of windows , try right click, properties , compatibility , then tick the box "Run this in compatibility mode for : " and select previous windows , try windows XP Sp 3

Tried that and it does not work.

 

It does work on newer versions. That God bug is the only bug you get.

I think I've found the cause and it's really weird one.

 

Zeus does not like modern sound cards. I disabled my sound card and the animations worked fine, closed the game and enabled sound again and the Gods went back slow.
