Having troubles on making a Japanese armor (Nanban Do Gusoku)

I'm a new guy in making armor for Skyrim, this is actually my first time.
Now, i'm trying to create a Japanese armor (Nanban Do Gusoku)

What it actually looks like:

What i'm up to now:

I'm actually having trouble on exporting the file from 3ds Max, it says "You have attempted to add a child to a ninode which already is a child of another ninode"

which i don't know what to do next...

Can any experienced guy help me? Or perhaps we can work together to complete the set.

Adding on the problem of don't know how to export the armor, I don't know how to properly map the helmet........

Anyone interested in co-developing this?

The file is here

I think the "You have attempted to add a child to a ninode which already is a child of another ninode" thing is because the mesh in 'nanban_do_base_1.max' and 'kabuto_lower.max' are instances of the original mesh..

And i can't pretend to know anything about blender, so don't know why it's not rendering.

But the UVs on the helmet are not done properly (Looking at it in the .obj) the masks UVs are though.

*edit*

Did you make the diffuse map your self?

Ahhh that makes seance, So do you need help unwrapping the helmet part you made?

Also are you making/editing the meshes in blender and using max to try and export it to work in skyrim?
