How do you manage your hotkeys?

Does anyone else not know what half the keys on their keyboard do for their mods, or am I just simple? Is there a mod out there that let's you assign the extra physical keys some keyboards have (G-Keys). How do you keep track of all mod functions on the keyboard?

these keys you have on your keyboard are called macro-keys and their purpose is assignable via your keyboard driver. They are used for short or longer key sequences.

eg: in skyrim you can assign your potions to your favorites menu where you can give them shortcut keys 1, 2, 3, ... etc. with your macro keys you can by simply pressing G1 for example drink about 3 potions in a matter of seconds, but you have to assign the buttons 1, 2, 3, etc. too your G1 key beforehand. So that the keyboard driver knows which buttons it has to 'digitally press'.

you can also use these keys for none gaming stuff like saving your password in one of them and when you need it just press the assigned button, the sequence will start, boom you never ever have to write your ugly password of numbers and symbols and letters again (ofcourse only if you trust your driver program).

I hope this helps understanding their functions and purpose, if you have any further questions just ask.

ps: these keys can never be assigned by any other program like a normal key eg: E, R, 1, ... because of their functionality

Damn, it would've been really convenient to have some extra keys for mods.

Thank you for explaining them for me.
