Sims are NOT showing in gallery????

I download. I unzip. i move to mod folder. i go to gallery and then library. and nothing. I select show custom content. still get nothng. i type in the name of the sim i downloaded in the search. nothing. I have about 30 sims somewhere in the back ground just roaming around lol and i dont know how to find them! advice please!!!!!

Downloaded Sims, Rooms, and Lots do not go in the Mod folder. They go in the Tray folder. They are not stored in .package format files. Sims themselves are stored in .householdbinary files. Lots in .blueprint and rooms in .room so you will need to move any files with any of those formats from your mod folder to your Tray folder.

OPPS: I forgot a few other file formats that go in the tray folder.

 

.bpi

.hhi

.rmi

.sgi

.trayitem

 

Basicly, if it does not end in .package or .ts4script then it goes in the tray folder.

EUREKA!!!! THANKS SO MUCH!! LITERALLY CHANGED THE WAY I CAN PLAY. now if i can figure out where they get their clothes and hair from so their not naked and bald when i spawn them haha

LOL! Sorry for the delay in answering this, but I've been a little buys. Sometimes the items will be listed on the download page. Sometimes they will come with a sub folder including most if not all you need.
