Bodyslide - Body not Scaling with Armor

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi everyone !

I reinstall Skyrim LE with Bodyslide and as usual, batch build morph my armor to BHUNP. But for whatever reason the body doesn't scale with the armor and I never encounter this problem in 8 years (and it works perfectly with Skyrim SE).

I thought that was BHUNP so I tried UNPB and CBBE, same issue.

I remove all my mods to be sure (I'm on MO2) and keep the essentials (Bodyslide, armor, body mod), that's doesn't solve anything...

Does anyone know how to fix this ?

This a custom armor?

If you have Bodyslide files .

1) Open Outfitstudio/File/Load Reference and import your body morph into folder Caliente Tools/Bodyslide/Shape data

2) File/import nif/ import more body morph. You will thus have two open bodies (one marked in green, the other in white).

3) Import nif armor / Caliente Tools/Bodyslyde/Shape data / folder armor

4) Delete body morph armor .

5) Right click armor , select copy weight / move all values to the right

6)Slider/comform selected / move all values to the right .

7) Export nif/ overwrite into Caliente Tools/Bodyslide/Shape data/folder armor .

8 ) Skyrim data folder/meshes/name armor/delete nif _0 and nif_1 body armor

9) Open Bodyslide/ batch build ( don't select build morph ) / right click /select none , search your armor select and build . You will thus have the armor converted and adapted to the various weights

I'm confused, all I have in template is conversion template, and I only find UNPConvert in ShapeData.

And a other thing I remember, I have this problem with more than 300 armor supposed to be bodyslidable...

Generally these steps do not require any modification . It may seem like a big job, but it's simpler than it actually seems

Thanks for the guide, but I don't know what I did wrong, it doesn't work.

I think I'll just stay on SE, doing this with 400 other armors is insane. Thanks anyway.

On this I agree

It would be enough to replace the original files and try again  ( extrat zip armors and overwrite Caliente Tools folder) and try again

With the weight at 0, you shouldn't have this problem. The caliente Tools body morph is standardized, and it should fit smoothly. If so, the problem should occur, with the weight at 100.

By opening the body morph in Bodyslide, you will find the preset weight at 100.
By opening the armor in Bodyslide, you will find the weight at 100.
If you move the cursor to 0, all you do is make it smaller (remember that after the conversion, it will have the same standard weight as the body morph)
The conversion process with application of the various weights serves to keep the self-managed suit based on who will wear it. The NPC's, you will hardly find them at 100 weight.

Return the weight to 100, and start the conversion process with Bodyslide, but first, you have to delete the two nif from the meshes folder of the armor.
After the process, just for verification, open the two nif (0 and 1) with Outfitstudio to verify that the process has been carried out correctly .

It's a bit late but for all who have this problem in the future:

The simple reinstallation of Bodyslide and clicking on all options to install unp morphs and else fixed it for me :D

I had this problem recently using BHUNP and BD's Armor conversions for BHUNP. After many hours the fix was to update my BHUNP body to v3, as the version I was using before did not work with all outfits in the conversion

I'm having this same problem trying to convert an armor to standard UNP. I've tried reinstalling Bodyslide but I have no clue where to select UNP morphs, and reinstalling removed all of the female body templates and I don't know how to get them back. I'm using Skyrim AE, but the mod comes from LE.

Since it converts the outfit, would it be possible to just paste the UNP body into the mesh overriding the improperly scaled one?

Bodyslide doesn't even build anything anymore, thanks for breaking my shit.
