Vioxsis Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Win XP can't run on Arm processors. But i remember reading there is a win8 version that will. What tablet do you have?
Emily Posted March 1, 2013 Author Posted March 1, 2013 No tablet at the moment. There is a lot of article on google that shows xp OS could actually works on any android (with large V-RAM). The problem is emily wouldn't know if the android keyboard taps would shows up and functional on window OS and the best way to install them. Primarily is because, she wanted adobe photoshop and corel painter on her android. if anyone have successfully installed and running window xp on their android, please share some of your knowledge.
Vioxsis Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Well you would have to get a tablet with a x86 based processor, and the minimum system requirements for XP are http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314865 Pentium 233-megahertz (MHz) processor or faster (300 MHz is recommended) At least 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM (128 MB is recommended) At least 1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available space on the hard disk also of note, Keyboard and a Microsoft Mouse or some other compatible pointing device Video adapter and monitor with Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution I don't know how well XP works with touch screens or if it will be recognised as a 'compatible pointing device'
Captain Cobra Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 There were tablets in the XP era, but they were using the Tablet PC Edition of Win XP. Might want to find a copy of dat.
