CTD on Save only on new Game

so i just wanted to share a bit of my struggle and how i fixed it maybe this can help somebody

 

So as the title says i run in some weird issue where i started to get a cdt on a new game when i tried to do a save, both manual and auto made the game cdt.

the old saves all worked fine.

 

so i started searching i found out that it had something to do with the physics body or clothes i use since i recently switched to 3bbb that was my number one culprit. 

but i was wrong it wasn't the reason

so i looked into the smp files maybe i fucked something up but again a no

so my last bet were the clothes but again a nono from the game, but i wasn't far off

 

so in last ditch effort after to many bottles of beer and angry and desperate AF i just did one more try i batch build and morphed every item trough BS and after that i run my custom groups to have the right items show up in game and you wouldn't believe it

that shit worked i have no idea why but i think that the game needs some physic even if you don't use the item. so now if i install anything that alters the vanilla clothes i have to do the process all over again or i get the same CTD which is quite tedious but at least a solution to my problem.

 

TLDR

Run Batch Build & Morph on every item you have installed then run your custom groups
