darkdill Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 I do like how PCEA (Player Character Exclusive Animation) gives my character unique animations and prevents NPCs from getting them, but there's one problem with it: compatibility with BBP- and TBBP-animations in terms of the NPCs. See, if I use PCEA, I can't see breast physics on NPCs because they're configured for standard animation destinations. The physics only work on your character. EDIT: Oh, I feel silly. I just experimented with inserting some TBBP animations into the PCEA folder and it worked without CTD! Now we just need someone to collect a few together and make an appropriate mod for NMM. gt5000 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 You should install the tbbp skeleton normally then place the animations u want for your pc in pcea
darkdill Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 From what i know you have to install the TBBP files into the custom folders for a custom race for PCEA, so the solution would be to install tbbp normally ? I dont use PCEA, so im probably wrong D: That would just result in CTDs. It'd involve more work than that.
gt5000 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 hue hue i edited after reading your post more :3 you could try playing around with your load order
darkdill Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 Load order has nothing to do with this.
gt5000 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 NPCs aren't using the same skeleton as you. i think thats your problem if the npcs arent using the tbbp skeleton and u try to load tbbp/bbp armors/clothing the game will ctd
Amythiel Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 The NPC animations certainly have to go into Data\meshes\actors\character\animation\PCEA\female\ The skeleton path seems to be unchanged, so Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets female\ and \character assets\ for the TBBP body But, that's just a theory since I don't use it. Would be best to ask the mod creator.

Would be best to ask the mod creator. Turns out your suggestion worked. I tried putting a TBBP idle animation into the appropriate PCEA folder and it worked. Just have to find some appropriate vanilla animations with TBBP in them and I'll be set to go. Only thing missing at that point would be outfit meshes.

All there is is in the TBBP thread afaik. I'm glad it worked thou.
