Just as advise, you should mention if and what packs might be needed, if you used things from them or just declare them basegame if none are used. ;)

Not everyone has all packs, some even own just the basegame and might need to know and "no CC" doesnt neccesarily mean "no packs used" aswell.

but thx anyways. :)

What do you mean lmao...no mods means exactly what it implies: no custom content was used. Content packs are official content from the publisher. They have nothing to do with each other.

On: thanks for the pack it's actually nice to have some vanilla stuff once in a while!

yeah the thing is, content packs can be used and still declared as "no CC used", this is what alot of those Lot Builders do,

but they usually, in one way or another, display the game packs they've used, as "Base Game" aka 'Vanilla' aka no Gamepacks used, is a fully seperate Category. ;)

(and often, but not always, no CC - if some is used, the CC is then listed/linked seperately)

For Example:

Quote

Big Family House • Base Game Only | No CC | Stop Motion | THE SIMS 4

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ymwd16Hyt1o

Game Packs dont come for free, so people need to know, which they need to have in order to enjoy a Lot or a Character to its fullest, so they need to be declared if some were used in the creation, if you dont have them on your game, people will NOT have certain items available and the Game will delete them from the Lot or Char.

this also comes to bear when people make mods/CC which have an item as base from a pack, but dont declare the pack needed for that...and you then wonder why the item doesnt show up in your game, which is annoying a.F...

so you see they have do do with each other and Creations and Users need to know which to have and use, if its not declared as just 'BaseGame'.

i hope this makes it much clearer what i meant.

Yeah I get your point, I haven't really come across that situation, though, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to occur. Usually when meshes from really specific content (like a game pack no one cares about) are used, it's specified in the description/tags. Never really considered this because I think most game meshes aren't really worth using so I assume those never really caught my attention, but it's still a point nonetheless.

I could see it potentially confusing when it comes to basegame users, then it would make a lot of sense. Then again, the base-game really lacks a lot of things so it's safe to assume most mods that look very defined/nice shaders or scripts etc. will most likely not work with the base version. Appreciate that you posted an example as it might be useful for them, though!
