Hello Folks!  "Dragonis Bonis Maximus".  In Latin it means, ...uh..., well, you figure it out.  And for many Skyrimites that see your Dragonborn in this armor, that's exactly what they'll get! Bikini armor is great and we all love the various works by others, but I'm more of a micro-kini fan myself.

 

You're probably thinking to yourself, "Hey, that guy just took Nise's (Nisetanaka) Dragonbone stuff and made an outfit. And you'd be 100% wrong. While at first glance it may look that way and I did use some of Nise's parts as a basis, everything has been modified. Almost all of the thousands of vertices in this armor have been moved at least twice because the low-poly parts were, for the most part, gigantic and / or poorly shaped for a female frame.  I did make many parts as well, such as the bra, the thong, the boots and helm.

 

And a few things didn't make sense. For example, the original pauldron design. Yes, long spikey bones sticking straight up might look scary and intimidation is an important factor, but when an attacker charging with an overhead strike might miss one's head, their blade slides down the pauldron and gets stuck on the bones rather than glancing away. Their only recourse is to back up their blade - right into your neck!  Probably not a good idea there.  Now, what happens in the same scenario (with the bones as shown) when your Dragonborn reacts by lowering her shoulder and charging the attacker because their centerline is now exposed?  Well, those bones just might leave a mark - or pop a lung!  Ouch!  Of course one can't do that in a game, but just sayin'...

 

And you're thinking to yourself, "Hey, dragon skulls aren't as small as the helm is".  There you'd be 100% correct. But do you think dragons just fly around burning or freezing shit all day and all night?   No, no, no...   Dragons do what we all gotta do.  Propagate. And Jade stumbled upon a "crater" filled with eggs, one of which had hatched. Unfortunately, a pack of wolfs must have recently found it as well. The eggs shattered, a young hatchling - expired.  So she took its' head and boiled it. The eyes, encased in glass.

 

So this is some serious armor here, despite some parts being somewhat skimpy. As an added bonis, also included is the highly-prized Bone 'er shield, which will come in handy. Sorry, but get your own weapon.

 
This is Dragonplate, so you'll need the Dragonbone perk to make and / or temper the armor. For cheaters such as myself, I just use the  AddItemMenu  mod and get the armor right away.  The "HS" version file requires the Heels Sound   mod by ApoKrytia for the "clicky" shoes. Be sure to have that  already  installed.  If you prefer not to use Heels Sound, select the  "NoHS"   file.

 

 

INSTALLATION & BODYSLIDE:  

Simply  install my mod using your favorite mod manager. Once doing so, start up  BodySlide and select "C5Kev's Dragonis Bonis Maximus Armor UUNP (HS or  NoHS)" from the "Group Filter" drop-down. Check the "Build Morphs" box  and  click "Batch Build" to make your armor parts. That's about it.

Well, hi ya Doc, still modding I hope?  Yes, that's what my Latin prof. taught me (although he did seem a bit "skewed" to me at times).  And with one's Dragonborn in this armor, odds are good that that'll happen!

Keeping busy, on and off. I have a mod on the Fallout 4 side of things at the moment called Raider Reform School. Capture raiders, chain them up until they learn to behave, then put them to work. And in the mean time, keep them pregnant and make money by putting the kids up for adoption, once they're big enough to run around by themselves.

Still over with FO4 eh?  I recall you and Vinfamy flew over there when it came out (well, we all did) and started making SL-type mods. No easy task considering the terrain. I've got a real love/hate relationship with that game.  I like playing it and I don't - I hate everyone and being stuck having to join one of the stupid factions really sucks.  Mama Murphy can bite me.  I build her chair and place it way out in the middle of nowhere so she can sit there, staring off into the distance by herself. But maybe things have changed now with a lot more mods out - I blew the game out a year ago or so.  The Super-Mutants can say some pretty funny shit though from time to time.  Anyway, take care dude.

I went back to Skyrim, stayed there for a while, made a mod called The Slaver's Spellbook... played a few indie h-games for a bit, and then started getting the urge to do something with Fallout.

 

I know exactly what you mean. I can recommend Start Me Up and the Thuggiverse mods. Between Depravity and Outcasts and Remnants you can finish the main quest on your own terms. Currently I'm around level 40, Preston is still in the museum and I'm collecting enslaved raiders for a breeding farm project. Probably going to join the Railroad soon, just for the ballistic weave, but not until I've killed the courser since that way Desdemona doesn't give you nearly so much grief. After that, I'm off to Nuka World and going to run some missions for the gang leaders over there. Good excuse to enslave some BoS knights and paladins

 

Anyway, yeah, nice chatting.

Hello JR69.  Sorry for the very slow response, been a bit busy as of late.  I assume you mean Jade - a Lunari elf with white hair, green eyes?  Of so, I get asked that quite a lot.  I kinda "covet" her, but I might make a PC Character package mod or a follower mod in the future.
