As the title says I just started a new game and what would be vampire vision/night eye turns on and off on its own and I'm not sure how to fix it. I am playing as an Imperial who is not even a vampire.

If anyone is still seeking solution - Skyrim Utility does this. There's a nightvision setting in Skyrim Misc.

To add to this, (with regards to versions of SUM older than 2.0) even though it is set to manual by default the behavior does not stop until toggle is set to disable all.  The mod author was aware of the issue and it was supposed to have been fixed earlier this year.  I'm frozen on version 1.60 due to reasons, and I'm likely not going to update so if anyone is still experiencing this problem with the new version 2.0 that was just released, please let them know on the Mod's support page.

I have the latest version and it's still the same. I also have a strong suspicion that SU is fucking with the nightvision overall, since I can't run it and my vampire is blind as a goddamn bat.
