HoneyCitrine Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 I recently reinstalled Skyrim and found that loading saves while DCL is enabled causes Skyrim to crash. I've done the whole enable disable thing with some success but wanted to get some opinions on what could be causing the issue before I do more testing. Yesterday I *think* I found the issue but then found that the crash was actually being caused by something else and, yeah... I definitely know that an incompatibility with DCL is causing the issue - however, I have already tried disabling all mods Mod Organizer highlighted as overwriting or being overwritten by DCL with no luck. I have also used LOOT through Mod Organizer to rearrange my plugin load order to no avail. HoneyCitrine Posted May 1, 2020 Author Posted May 1, 2020 Solved! Turns out this shit was not actually Deviously Cursed Loot but rather Devious Equips interfering with Legacy of the Dragonborn (at least from my experimentation). How? I don't even know, man...
chaosarah Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 When ever you reinstall you must take some time to find out a working Load order, especially with the DD mods i have stumbled on situations where Loot didnt help and i just had to move a single mod further down the list. The good thing is, that at least for me, every save then crashes on reload. So i can just reduce the mod-count and continue game until i found the mod conflict rather fast. Had problems with "spank that ass" and the new DD 4.1 recently.
